Lighting of Our Heroes Tree

Join us for a ceremony to light Our Heroes’ Tree® which will be at the Seymour Library from 11/1-11/27. The Color Guard from VFW Post 1925 will present the colors, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and a short history of the national Our Heroes’ Tree® project, which was created in 2005 by Stephanie Pickup & Marlene Lee. The trees are in honor of past and present service members and create an awareness of military families currently affected by deployment.
